Crucial Conversations
Open Enrollment – In-Person Training in Chicago

Crucial Conversations teaches skills for communicating when the stakes are high, opinions vary and emotions run strong. Participants learn the dialogue skills demonstrated by top performers—skills that help you talk with anyone about anything to reach alignment and agreement on important matters. A “microaggression” is a statement, action, or incident regarded as an instance of indirect, subtle, or unintentional discrimination against members of a specific group. In this training you will learn how to recognize what microaggressions are and how they impact our people and the firm, how to respond when you are on the receiving end of a microaggression and how to change the conversation around microaggressions and inclusion to promote an inclusive work environment. Presentation Skills – Fundamentals

Presentation Skills – Fundamentals is a one-day training program designed to increase your credibility, engagement and influence in business presentations. Participants will be able to: 1. Establish credibility with an audience with effective visual, vocal and verbal techniques; 2. Articulate a compelling message to influence audiences. This is the same program as the “Big Bet Coaching Program” in our nomination based program. However, this is a non-cohort based program – and no central programming is offered to participants. This is for front line to mid-level managers are paired with a best-in- class coach through an on-demand external partner, BetterUp. Using our leadership capabilities as the foundation, the coach and the manager will work together to unlock the manager’s best leadership potential. Cost: $3500 per participant for one year of coaching.

Executive Leadership Council (ELC): Mid-Level Manager’s Symposium

When equipped with the right skills, leaders at JLL can power change for the business. They are the critical link between those who create the strategies and those who must bring them to life. Partnered with an external executive coach, leaders go through formal assessment and coaching based on the contract secured.
